VOE Participant Expectations
Identification (ID) Badges
ID badges can be obtained from the Medical Center Badge
Office, located in Medical Center North, room S-2311.
Be sure that your ID authorization form has been submitted
by the VOE Office prior to arrival at the ID Badge Office.
ID badges must be worn above the waist at all times while
on campus.
Name, title, and picture should be clearly visible.
Dress Code
Business casual attire is expected. Examples of attire that do not reflect professional standards
are see-through garments, t-shirts, sweat shirts, sweat pants, blue jeans, tank tops, tube tops,
and shorts.
Shoes must be close-toe, and be in good repair.
Socks or stockings must be worn at all times.
Fingernails should be clean and trimmed.
Piercings (other than in the ear) and tattoos must be covered.
Hand-Held Devices
Use of hand-held devices, such as iPods and MP3 Players are prohib-
ited during the observation period.
Cell phones are allowed for emergencies, but must be put away
during the actual observational experience.
Feeling Ill or need to cancel?
Please reschedule your experience if you are not feeling well.
Examples of possible signs of sickness may include fever,
cough, runny nose, chills, or vomiting.
